Great app. Loads better than the official app. Where are notifications on new comments or tasks assigned to me?
iPad mini here, and it does not work at all. It used to work great. Now it wont even open. Crashes on launch. Worthless. -----------------UPDATE I am editing this to note the developer suggested a delete and reinstall, which worked. The app is back to being awesome!
Works great. Well conceived and designed. A must have for Asana users.
No "done" button when creating a task. You have to go back to the title, select it and then hit done in your keypad. This is strange behavior, since the task title is the first thing I type in. Also, the description for this app says that I can manage workspaces but I dont seem to be able to do that. Deleting, editing, and creating workspaces is essential. Id happily re-review this app after the above has been included. Still much better than the native Asana app, though.
Way better than the native asana app, but agreed...needs a done button. Biggest issue is not having an inbox for messages!! Seriously...I know how many tasks I have...I need a notification that is actually worth it.
This is the most Ive spent on a productivity app (5 bucks) and its broken. It crashes every time I open it up. I contacted support and waited a week for response. Still nothing from them. Im gonna try and get a refund from Apple. Dont download this app.
Hands down the best mobile app for Asana. I have been using this app for a few months now. Offline support is robust and their UI polished. Their customer support is incredibly responsive and have helped me consistently with both feature requests and bugs. Their app is feature complete -- as in everything the Asana API supports theyve implemented. There are some things the app cannot accomplish due to API restrictions imposed by asana, but they try their best to get around these obstacles.
The asana team can learn from this developer. This is a fantastic app!
What about the iOS 7 Notifications bar? For $5 this app should offer notifications like the Asana app does.
Great feature! Includes many search and sorting capacities. You can even create subtasks which I havent found in the other Asana apps. Only weakness Ive found is the inbox feature is disabled for the current version. Hopefully they bring it back soon so I dont have to enable email notifications for everything.
This app is by far the best way to use Asana on the iPhone. It feels like a native app the way Asana should have built their app to begin with. Works flawlessly. Have had no issues. Syncs extremely fast. And you can also add subtasks which you cannot do from the Asana iPhone app. Definitely a five-star app.
I mainly use due date sorting, but for lists Id like to order manually (as in Asana).
Considerably better than native Asana app but fact that Saved Favorites do not show reduces data management.
It has more functionality than the Asana app. At the moment it does appear to be missing the ability to set recurring dates for a task, but maybe that will come in a future update. Other than that, all the functionality I need is right here on my iPad.
Have to constantly enter username and password. Major flaw. So much for making asana easier.
As a heavy asana user, the native app is darn near worthless. Hill88 answers that question, solves the problem and knocks it out of the park! In fact I find this app better than the website! Well worth the money.
Just had a painful experience trying to view all the tasks in a project. App didnt have favorites listed from Asana app. I have a lot of projects and it needs to be easier to nav
Looks like this is now becoming abandonware. Some things are beginning not to work and it is flakey. I have gone back to the official client, and while it isnt as nice, it is stable and works as expected.
If youre like me youve purchased way too many apps that just sit there and never get opened. But then there are those few apps that you use all the time and are well worth the money and you just couldnt live without. This is one of those apps for me. This app is so much better than the Asana app its not even funny. I love Asana and when Im using my iPhone or my iPad this app makes it so that I can both use...and love Asana off-line and on my devices too.
